Amsterdam ½ day Workshop — 23 July 2019

- An Afternoon by the Canals - 

In this workshop we’ll spend an afternoon together sketching and painting glorious Amsterdam. I will lead you through my process of telling a compelling story with a painting. I’ll share my personal theory on color, light, perspective, composition, and how to convey a mood with a painting. We will do some simple warm-up exercises, and then sketch this diverse city together. We will work in watercolor sketchbooks or loose sheets, and the media will be pen and ink and watercolor. Group size is limited, so there will be plenty of time for one-on-one instruction.

Materials will not be provided. I will email a complete list upon registration.

Level—

This workshop is suitable for all levels. We all have something to learn, and I look forward to working with each of you.

The price of the workshop is €50/person.
